Bandura "Lvivianka" of Kyiv type

Bandura is particular for its sound volume and bright timbre, which is peculiar to this musical instrument. It is popular with the players according to its dimensions, shape and weight. Absence of key-shifter reduces severely the access to the note material, especially to the material with bigger quantity of alteration marks. Bass strings are located at the lower part of bandura and are adjusted by means of verbiles at the grifhead. Additional strings are located along the shamstock and are adjusted at the upper part of bandura.

Bandura "Prima" of Kyiv type

Bandura is particular for its sound volume and bright timbre, which is peculiar to this musical instrument. It is popular with the players according to its dimensions, shape and weight. Key-shifter provides strings of various keys with high sound rate, mechanism rods are concentrated on one axle which allows the player to readjust the scale in the required key at one move. Mechanism is compact and easy to adjust. Bass strings are located particularly at the lower part of bandura and are adjusted by means of verbiles at the grifhead. Additional strings are located along the shamstock and are adjusted at the upper part of bandura.

"Juvenile" bandura "Prima" of Kyiv type

With accordingly reduced dimensions and space between strings the “Adolescent” bandura disposes of all features of bandura for adults, except some loss of sound volume and one tone higher diapason reduction. This bandura is designed for the use in the process of study at the children’s schools and pupils amateur art activities. Key-shifter provides strings of various keys with high sound rate, mechanism rods are concentrated on one axle which allows the player to readjust the scale in the required key at one move. Bandura of Kharkiv type

Key strings relatively upper half-key strings are located along the sham stock, half-key strings are located along the tailpiece. For comfortable left hand play pegs are covered with special cap. This way of bandura play gives the possibility of all strings play using both hands, what allows simultaneous use of almost full instrument diapason.

Balalaika

3-stringed balalaika. Made of maple and white wood. Body canted with valuable species of timber. Pegs mechanics belongs to an open type.

Delcimer

Concert dulcimers are produced form high quality materials: maple, sycamore. Number of strings – 94. This is an instrument where two types of sound creation are applied: with help of hammers and by plucking.
